Seeing as how I can never really get much work done at home, I am always looking for cafes near and far to go to. So, I decided I would start a series on the blog that is dedicated to finding these cafes. We'll call it coffee shop hopping.

Although I've lived in Chicago my entire life, I never came across these new and unique cafes. I would always end up going to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts back in college to get my coffee fix but now it's time to burst out of that bubble and find something new. First stop on the coffee shop hopping list is Asado Coffee Roasters! I came to learn about them on Facebook when a friend of mine checked-in and recommended this place. So, I decided to try it out.

As I walked in, the first think I noticed was the interior. The location that I went to was pretty small but it looked gorgeous and was well designed. I especially liked how minimal the decor was and at times, it isn't always the worst thing. This cafe had a great ambiance which made it an awesome place to enjoy a cup of coffee and get a lot of work done. After having gone cold turkey for the past few years, I've slowly started to drink coffee again, mocha to be exact. So, while I was there I decided to try theirs out and it was the best one I've had so far! I am definitely planning on coming back to this place! Maybe I'll check out one of their other locations.

If you live in Chicago or are visiting out of town, make sure to check them out!
