If you're also a 90's baby, you'll remember these items: chokers, scrunchies, shell necklaces. You'll also probably remember girls wearing outfits similar, if not identical, to the one I'm wearing in this post. The list goes on and on. What I remember and loved the most about the 90's was the fashion. I remember wearing shirts that were triple the size of my body, guys wearing pants below their butts being all "gangster" and tapered pants. The whole grunge scene was pretty popular back then too when everyone owned at least one flannel shirt.
In the mid 1990s, industrial and military styles became one of the top fashion trends and people were trying to find ways to make a fashion accessory out of a piece of machinery. Speaking of which, I remember dog tags used to be a big hit among my friends and all, if not most of them, had one with their names on it from six flags. Let's not forget about hip hop! It was very popular back then too and urban styles were seen everywhere. By the late 1990s, hip hop style was the most popular among young people. Then comes the rave culture. People wanted to look more glamorous and brand name designers were back.
The 90's definitely went through a lot of fashion changes and compared to today, there's no drastic difference. A lot of the 90's trend made their way back and I think it's here to stay for a while.
